A Child's Mind

In her world, she was a child, happy and free,
She was small, trying to catch bumblebees.

Little flowers she observantly touched,
She was curious about the little things, although they weren't much.

There were no worries or problems to solve,
Toys and candy, her mind revolved.

She ran to her mommy with tears in her eyes,
Her mothers care stopped the cries.

She planned her day around her fathers time,
The playground was the biggest thing on her mind.

Her biggest fear was jumping off the swings,
Little did she know, she was worried about the little things.

  1. I just wanted to say that this poem is really good. It flows so nicely together and the ending is literally the best thing ever. Like it's a fantastic ending, it wraps up everything. Like I can't tell you how much I love this poem and the ending. Lowkey I'm trying to not sound creepy right now so sorry. But I read your most recent post and I think you should submit this poem as one of your four
